Privacy Policy

Clear View Insurance Services, LLC (“Clear View Insurance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through mycvis.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. As a licensed Oklahoma insurance agency, protecting the information you trust us with is central to how we work.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, schedule an appointment, or use the chat assistant, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or location, the type of insurance you’re interested in, and details about what you want to insure. Chat messages you send are also part of this information. You choose what to share.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and timestamps — to keep the Site secure and reliable. We also use the small set of first-party cookies and on-device storage described in our Cookie Policy. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your request and answer your questions.
  • Prepare, present, and compare insurance quotes across the carriers we represent.
  • Place and service coverage with insurance carriers, and support you over the life of your policy.
  • Communicate with you about quotes, policies, and — if you ask for them — updates or offers.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to a licensed insurance agency.

3. How we contact you (calls and texts)

When you give us your phone number through a form or the chat, you agree that Clear View and those working with us may contact you about your request and your quotes by phone, text message, and email — including by automated or prerecorded means. This consent is not a condition of buying any insurance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop marketing calls or emails at any time by contacting us. We will still send service messages about a quote or policy you have with us.

4. How we share your information

We share your information only as needed to serve you and run our business. We may share it with:

  • Insurance carriers, wholesalers, and other agencies or brokers, to quote, place, or service your coverage.
  • Service providers who operate tools on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — for example, Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Supabase (secure data storage), and the provider that powers our AI chat assistant.
  • Government agencies or others when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our rights — including the Oklahoma Insurance Department and other regulators.
  • A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. The chat assistant and sensitive information

Our chat assistant uses a third-party AI provider to generate responses, so messages you send are processed by that provider on our behalf to answer you. Please don’t enter sensitive details — such as Social Security numbers, full policy or account numbers, or health information — into the chat. To share those securely, use a quote form or call us at (405) 703-2834.

6. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including encryption in transit and access controls on the systems that store it. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if you have a concern, contact us right away.

7. How long we keep it

Most on-device conveniences expire on their own — for example, a saved quote draft clears after 7 days. Your chat session and recent messages stay on your device until you reset the chat or clear your browser. Information you actually submit to us is kept as long as needed to serve you and to meet our recordkeeping and regulatory obligations as an insurance agency, after which we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you (see below).

8. Insurance privacy (GLBA and Oklahoma regulations)

As a licensed insurance agency, Clear View handles nonpublic personal information — including financial and, in some cases, health-related information — in accordance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the privacy regulations of the Oklahoma Insurance Department. We do not disclose that information except as those laws and this Policy permit. When you become a customer, you may receive a separate privacy notice describing how we treat the nonpublic personal information associated with your policy.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, and deletion — email quotes@mycvis.com to ask what information we hold, to correct it, or to request deletion. We may need to verify your identity first.
  • Marketing communications — you can opt out of marketing messages at any time by using an unsubscribe link, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us. We’ll still send service messages about a quote or policy you have with us.
  • Cookies — manage or clear cookies and on-device storage through your browser settings, as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • State privacy rights — depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of. Contact us to exercise any right that applies to you.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to insurance carriers, our social media profiles, and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
