This Cookie Policy explains how Clear View Insurance uses cookies and similar on-device storage on mycvis.com. We keep this deliberately small: we use only the storage needed to make the Site work and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies — such as “local storage” and “session storage” — let a site keep small amounts of information on your device. We use a handful of these, all first-party (set by mycvis.com), plus one third-party security tool described below. Most are “functional”: they remember your choices and keep features working.
What we use, specifically
The table below lists the cookies and on-device storage this Site uses. Items marked “local storage” or “session storage” stay on your device and are not sent to our servers unless you submit a form or send a message to the chat assistant — chat messages you send are transmitted to our backend and a third-party AI provider to generate a reply (see our Privacy Policy).

What we do NOT use
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or the Meta (Facebook) pixel. We do not sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. In fact, when you arrive on a link that carries advertising or campaign tracking parameters (such as utm_, gclid, or fbclid), the Site removes those parameters from the address bar automatically.
Third-party services
A few service providers help us operate the Site:
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the Site and provides the Turnstile anti-bot check on our forms. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie or token to tell humans from bots and to keep the Site secure and fast.
- Supabase — the backend platform that securely receives and stores information you submit through a form or the chat. It processes data on our behalf, not for its own advertising.
- An AI provider — generates the chat assistant’s replies. When you send a message in the chat, it is processed by this provider on our behalf to answer you; it is not used for the provider’s own advertising. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies and clear on-device storage through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies entirely. Because the items above are functional, blocking or clearing them may affect how the Site works — for example, it may forget your language choice, lose a saved quote draft, or reset your chat. The Site does not depend on advertising cookies, so nothing is lost on that front.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track you across other websites or sell your information, there is little for a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to change here. We honor those signals to the extent they apply, and we continue not to use your information for cross-site advertising regardless.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Site changes. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” above. For more on how we handle information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
